Includes missile launcher, Blindfire radar unit, optical
tracker, secondary sight, CDU, two generator units and figure - this comprehensive kit
builds into an impressive display of the version of Rapier that saw action in both the
Falklands and Gulf conflicts. The kit is in injection resin, cast metal and etched brass,
and can be assembled in both the ‘deployed’ and ‘travelling’ mode. In
this latter guise it can be used with our Land Rover 1 Tonne kits to construct an equally
interesting display. This kit has been severely delayed by the all the additional work and
detailing carried out the ex-Dartmoor masters to bring you one of the most detailed kits
available. It is supplied with colour-coded instructions and photo-references for many of
the assembly stages.
