This major kit includes variant parts to enable three
variant figures to be produced. You can make the figure as a rifleman, {the kit includes a
finely-detailed Martini-Henry rifle, with a bayonet in lost-wax cast brass}, or as a
Drummer {bugler}, using the cast brass bugle supplied, together with finely-etched sword.
In addition, a Quartermaster-Sergeant can be made, in ammunition-dispensing pose, again,
complete with sword. The kit is supplied with finely-etched insignia and a webbing set,
together with a moulded base unit with three mealie bags. The use of up to three of these
kits would enable an accurate rather than film-based, Rorke’s Drift diorama to be
made.
